The Position: The leadership of The Business Solutions team is a fundamental element in achieving Innovation Credit Union’s business objectives. Reporting to the Chief Retail Officer, the VP Business Solutions provides leadership, direction and business development expertise with a strong focus on providing sales and service leadership to the Business Solution team. The VP, Business Solutions will provide strategic direction in the planning, development, management, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of programs, products and services including defining market sectors, selling and pricing initiatives. This role will identify, investigate, analyze and develop business cases regarding potential strategic alliances, joint ventures, partnerships and other business opportunities that lead to improvements of internal quality and service to the membership.
The VP, Business Solutions is responsible for managing the operations of a cross-functional team in order to provide products, services, and support to internal and/or external stakeholders, thereby ensuring the achievement of Innovation Credit Union goals and strategies. A dedicated focus on strong growth and business development within the group that is aligned to Innovation’s corporate objectives is required, while maintaining a balanced approach with risk management of business portfolios for the Credit Union. This individual will collaborate directly with ELT to recommend, develop, implement and support revenue generating solutions for the organization.
The successful candidate will be results driven, accompanied by the capacity to anticipate potential obstacles and seamless integration of activities, exceptional interpersonal abilities for relationship management. In addition they will possess a high degree of professionalism, integrity and ethical standards.
