Mobile Mortgage Specialist Cornerstone Credit Union
The Position: The primary purpose of this position is to promote and maximize the development and growth of the residential mortgage portfolio of the credit union; by operating as a separate business channel and attracting and generating new business from alternate sources outside the branch network. Reporting to the Manager, Financial Services, the successful candidate will develop and maintain a high profile professional presence in the community. Developing key relationships with new home builders, developers and realtors and working with them in making mortgages available to existing and new members will be key to the success of this individual. The mobile mortgage specialist will have the freedom to create their own schedule and work from a home office while still enjoying the ability to partner with the branch team to ensure an exceptional member experience and anchor the member relationship.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have Grade 12 diploma plus two years of mortgage lending experience and/or three years of financial services experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This individual must have exceptional communication skills, good problem solving skills and the ability to build and develop strong working relationships. A commitment to continuous learning and development is required over and above the requirements for the position.
